Permissions
The public card is open to anyone. Private branches open only with the owner's consent, for a set time.
A passport has a public card that anyone can see and private branches that the owner opens when they choose. Permissions are planned for stage 4.
How a permission works
A permission is the owner’s consent: who sees what, until when.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
grantee |
Who gets access |
scope |
Which branches or facts |
expiresAt |
When access ends |
Every view of a private branch goes into an audit log that the passport owner can see.
Example: a fund asks to see a branch
The fund requests access. The owner approves on the phone. Access expires at the time the owner set.
Rules that already hold
- Cards are made only for wallets that the owners themselves made public.
- Reports on many wallets publish totals only. No single wallet is named unless it belongs to the project being analyzed or its owner made it public.
- Noventia’s own products get no data or rules that partners cannot get through the same API.
