Branches
A passport is split into branches, each with its own facts and level. The Solana path comes first.
A passport has no total score. It has branches. Each branch is built from one kind of source and has its own level and its own facts.
| Branch | Built from | Stage |
|---|---|---|
| Solana path | Public wallet history: age, tokens launched and their fate, holding behavior, funding | Start |
| Trader | Exchange trades through read only keys: results, drawdown, discipline | Later |
| Deals | Deals between people confirmed by both sides, disputes | Later |
| Builder | Programs and projects shipped, completed work | Later |
| Community | Vouches from strong passports | Later |
The Solana path is the only branch with facts today. At stage 2 its card shows facts without a level. Branch levels come at stage 3, each with a published rule.
How evaluation works at later stages
These rules shape every design now, so later branches never require breaking what exists.
- Only kept promises count: events where something was at stake and the result can be verified.
- A person can rate someone only after a real deal with them.
- The weight of a rating depends on the rater’s passport and the size of the deal. Rings of passports that only praise each other get no weight, in the style of EigenTrust.
- Vouching puts your own passport at risk.
- Growth is limited by time. Recent bad behavior weighs more. Old behavior fades slowly.
- One case does not end a passport. Patterns matter. Owners can respond.
The order of launch is fixed: facts from the chain first, then deals, then vouches, then the council.
